Wildwood Vineyard is excited to welcome two wonderful vineyards for a summer evening event to showcase their wines and share their story.
Established in 2009, Woodchurch Wine Estate is a multi-award-winning, single estate vineyard nestled on the edge of the picturesque village of Woodchurch in the heart of Kent. Their vines are planted on a perfect 12-acre, south-facing slope looking down over the ancient Romney Marsh to the English Channel. This unique geography offers the perfect microclimate, allowing their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Bacchus varieties to ripen slowly, retaining their natural acidity while developing intensely concentrated fruit flavors that beautifully express the unique terroir of the Kentish landscape. Their vision is simple - to create the finest sparkling and still wines in England.
Newick Wine Estate is an independent English vineyard situated on the south-facing slopes of Ketches Farm, Newick, East Sussex. Established on approximately 20 acres of free-draining Tunbridge Wells Sand Formation soils, the estate’s 37,000 vines are planted with Chardonnay (44%), Pinot Noir (30%), Pinot Meunier (13%), and Bacchus (13%), with the elevation reaching 48 metres above sea level. The vineyard’s first harvest took place in 2025, with their still wines launching this summer. The estate operates using regenerative growing principles, minimising physical and chemical intervention to preserve soil biodiversity and allow the character of each vintage to express itself naturally in the glass.
